Our Cruise & Tour journeys bring together all the joy of a cruise onboard the elegant Celebrity Solstice with all the exciting exploration of a Wendy Wu Tours land itinerary. On this tour you'll travel from the rich history of Beijing, through China to Hong Kong on the land part of the adventure, before boarding your cruise to follow the coast of Southeast Asia, stopping off at key destinations en route, to reach the marvellous modern metropolis of Singapore.
Tour experiences:
- Dumpling Demo, Dumplings are one of China’s most versatile foods – filling, delicious and a symbol of comfort, hope and prosperity. In Xian, enjoy a dumpling making class, learning how these tasty morsels are folded and cooked, before sitting down to a banquet of them as you enjoy a dance performance based around the mighty Tang Dynasty.
- Beijing Acrobatics, Gasp at the athletic abilities of the artists who perform in Beijing's must-see Chinese acrobatic spectacular! The show features all sorts of stunts and acts such as contortionism, juggling, plate spinning and much, much more. All the action will keep you firmly on the edge of your seat.
- Delight in Dim Sum, A Hong Kong institution, dim sum embodies both Cantonese cuisine and tradition. Part of the ritual of 'yum cha' (drink tea), these bite sized delights are served with tea. Enjoy a dim sum demonstration, learning all about the different varieties, which are steamed, fried or baked, and how they are handcrafted and served. You'll dine on the delicious results for lunch.
