Viking’s river cruises feature intimate, Scandinavian-inspired ships with spacious staterooms, open public areas, and thoughtfully designed itineraries along Europe’s iconic rivers. Ocean ships maintain a similar aesthetic on a mid-sized scale, delivering destination-focused voyages with open decks, multiple dining venues, and enrichment programs. Inclusions are substantial across all three offerings, encompassing guided shore excursions, meals in multiple restaurants, select beverages, Wi-Fi, and enrichment programming. Expedition voyages add specialist-led explorations and Zodiac excursions. While not ultra-luxury, Viking delivers a premium, highly curated experience with a strong emphasis on cultural engagement.
