    • The iconic hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) is a physically demanding activity. Please refer to the full itinerary description on day 11 for important information regarding the hike.
    • This tour involves some long travel days by private vehicle, including journeys on winding and steep roads. To ensure safe and comfortable travel, smaller coaches will be used throughout the tour, with a dedicated guide assigned to each vehicle.
    • This tour is best suited for adventurous travellers who are in good physical condition, as it involves remote and off-the-beaten-path destinations, at altitude. To fully enjoy this journey flexibility, a positive attitude, and a willingness to embrace the adventure are essential.
    • Phallus symbols can be seen throughout Bhutan, painted on homes, shops and cafés. Often displayed around front doorways, they are a traditional cultural symbol believed to represent fertility and good fortune, while also offering protection from evil spirits and malicious gossip.
