Christmas in Levi Glass Igloos

Transfer from Kittilä airport to your glass igloo via the warm clothing and boots pick up spot. Check in is from 4pm and once this is completed, settle into your glass igloo. Each glass igloo has a kitchenette, shower and toilet. The windows are insulated and electrically heated to keep them from frosting. The kitchenette is equipped with a breakfast set for two, electric stove, microwave and kettle, toaster and fridge. In addition, the igloos have a radio/CD player, a hair dryer and a socket for car engine heaters. At the centre of the igloo is a motorised double bed that can be converted into twin beds.

Enjoy your first evening in Lapland. With no light pollution and no noise you can truly feel the beauty of the Arctic night, admire the night sky and hopefully see the Northern Lights. Hear the silence of the wilderness and breathe in the cleanest air in Europe. Any clear night, grab a blanket, wander outside and watch for the Northern Lights.

A day for the children. At the Elves' Village there is plenty to do: sledding down the snowy slope, a game of elf football, baking gingerbread and making Christmas crafts. The centre of the day is meeting Santa himself, stepping inside his home for a conversation and the kind of moment children remember.

In the evening, dinner is served at Restaurant Utsu, a traditional Finnish Christmas dinner for guests staying over Christmas Eve (24 December), and the regular Lappish dinner for those travelling on other dates.

After breakfast it is dogsledding, this is what you absolutely should try in Lapland! After the safety instructions, you will start the journey out into the forests. Enjoy the silence and beautiful winter scenery of Levi. Everyone can experience driving a husky team as one drives while the other sits on a sledge. There is opportunity to change places halfway through the tour.

The it's time for the reindeer experience with a sled ride through magical winter landscape. Travel at a pace set by the reindeer themselves, from energetic youngsters eager to race to the calmer lead reindeer guiding the way. After the ride, your guide will share fascinating stories about the past and present life of local reindeer herders.
A warm soup lunch will take place at the farm.

Dinner will be served at Levi Igloos.

After breakfast you will driven by snowmobiles to a snow white forest river full of fish. Try to catch your meal, local fish by ice fishing! A nice lunch will take place in a local restaurant. After the lunch the snowmobile safari continues round the fells and return back to your accommodation.

On return, consider a visit into Levi for shopping, late night skiing or some ice go karting thrills!

After breakfast, return your warm clothing and transfer to the airport.
